Our Approach

Safe Approach Training have been providing prevention and management of violence and aggression training (PMVA) since 2006. Safe Approach training specialise in providing PMVA training to a wide range of specialist services including adult mental health, learning disabilities, children services and older adults. To ensure that all training is individualised to the needs of specific organisation Safe Approach Training will support with the completion of a training needs analysis to formulate a written proposal and teaching plan.

Safe Approach Training is based in South Wales but continue to work collaboratively with organisations all around Wales and England. All training aligns to General Services association (GSA) guidance and full certification will be provided on successful completion of the course. Clients and commissioners can confirm our certifications by visiting the Bild Association of Certified Training website.

Our training supports an approach that is directly related and proportional to the needs of population and people (RRN 2020).

Proudly affiliated with The General Services Association;
Membership organisation for people who are trained as tutors in the prevention and management of violence and aggression.

We are pleased to announce that we have gained accreditation status for our therapeutic management of violence and aggression training from the restraint reduction network and the British institute of learning disabilities association of certified training.

The new standards were developed and agreed in 2018 with an aim of reducing restrictive practices.
